In the alley seeking blood, I know not what I've become.
In my mind I see a cat. Now my vision's coming back.
Fucking felines everywhere clawing faces, coughing hair.
Who would pet them? No one dares. From the shadows I declare:

CATMAN! CATMAN! CATMAN!
CATMAN! CATMAN! CATMAN!

Not a victim of their wrath. Plays guitar and smokes his hash.
Known to travel in a pact and perpetrate a swift attack.
Furry coats and honor bound. Seek out rats across the town.
Stalk em out and take em down. That's the way we do this meow.

Fighting for rights of man and cat alike
he puts on his tights and flees into night,
and if you abuse it's you he will choose.
If you hear the cry your death will come soon.

Looking for a soul to save. Couldn't find a cure for hate.
So he tries to demonstrate the world in a peaceful place.
Playing hero like a kid. Though his mom had sheltered him
nothing could prepare us when you know who descends again:

Perching in the dead of night on a lamppost out of sight.
How he got there? No one knows. Secrets said are best untold.
Wonder what will come of him? Living life devoid of sin.
No question who this zealot is: CATMAN! is the name he gives.
